Mom is back in the kitchen!!
we have been slowly transitioning into our new kitchen in Hawaii. it’s a big change from Our England kitchen but I’m learning the new dance.
tonight we made Buffalo cauliflower.
you like to eat the crispy cauliflower without the hot Buffalo sauce. Dunked in ranch.
we have been playing with batter recipes and feel like we have finally found a winner.
we also compared pan fried in oil vs. air fried.
turns out, air fried is way better. It tastes best and is way less of a mess.
Pan fried in oil takes so much time and made a mess.
These were a success! A must share!
batter :
1 1/2 CUP RICE FLOUR
2/3 cup tapioca flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
mix it all together and then slowly add 1 cup cold water
look for pancake batter thickness
may need to add tiny bits more water to find that
cover the chopped cauliflower With the batter and pop it into the air fryer
I did 400 for about 15 min - I think
just keep checking till they are golden brown
remove from fryer and drop into a big bowl to cover/mix with Buffalo sauce.
we ( mom + dad , you like yours naked ) use our favorite primal sauce.
I let the sauce heat up on the stove top for a little while first.
served with celery and ranch!
